The Advancement of Technology in Oceanography

In the modern world, technology has been increasing at exponential rates. In accordance to Moore's Law, technology has been impacting many aspect of the field of Oceanography, including data collection in the field to running tests and analysis in research facilities. This paper focuses on the evolvement of SONAR technology and the impact these advancements have had on the field.

The Effect of Climate Change on Coral Reef Ecosystems

Climate change is the greatest threat to coral reef ecosystems on a global scale. As temperature rises, infectious disease outbreaks and mass coral bleaching events increase in frequency. This paper examines the overall effect of climate change, considering the phenomena's effect on different aspects of reef ecosystems worldwide.
